| ok Dave I just downloaded See them and it said the Sims path cannot be detected? I had downloaded this previously with no problem so what gives? Hmmm... glmpf...

no I dont use a pirated game version.
Tsr keeps saying I need an installation path. How do I do that? I believe I have an ATi card. I have have uninstalled everything and reloaded the games. It is working Ok so I am trying to load on some of the stuff I had. Wow I did not realize how much I had loaded on. I would like to download more from TSr but I need a path and do not know how to create one. Thank you...

| | Don't know why TSR should need the installation path for. I expect you backed up your game before uninstalling, so just go to the place you backed up your user profile to (where the copy of My Documents / EA Games / The Sims 2 is) and start copying the downloads back to your game - without redownloading them from web.
If you didn't back up your game and really have to download all again, just create the Downloads folder in your user profile if it's not there (My Documents / EA Games / The Sims 2 / Downloads) and extract the files there.
BTW See Them 2 can create the Downloads folder for you.

thank you so much for your help.I think i could use some computer classes...
The game would not load at all. I started over... Very sad. I do need a larger game card. It will be fun. Do meshes cause trouble. Is it safe to download from Peggy sims, and others related to ts2 that require meshes from other sights.? I have 280 GHZ 1.99 GB of Ram. You are so awesome to spend time helping others with the game!!

Always check if the skin you downloaded doesn't require mesh from an EP you don't have. It's OK to download a mesh from a different site if it's required. But even if you don't have the required mesh in the game, it should not cause problems - the skin just would not load.
If the game doesn't start at all - did it happen the first time after you installed a new EP?
I still don't know if you use a pirated game version. If not, check if your CD/DVD drive works - open it and blow into it a bit to get rid of the dust. Also try to clean your game CD or DVD and check if it's not scratchy.
If you have a newer game version (Glamour Life+), you must have an ATI or Nvidia graphics card - other manufacturers are not supported.

Hi,
I have been playing the sims for 2 years and have loved every minute of it.
I started downloading from the Sims internet sight and TSR and everything was fine. I then downloaded a bush of houses and clothes from tsr and then downloaded a skin from Peggy sims,
Now my game will not open at all. Could it be my game card has gotten too small? I dont know really where to begin. If you can help I would be soooo grateful.

What's the problem with your game? Does it crash / freeze / an error message appears? Does it happen when loading the game or when entering a lot? Which EPs do you have? Do you use global hacks? Is your game cracked? Which graphics card and how much RAM do you have?
Without knowing more info it's hard to help you out. If you download houses, check the .sims2pack files for presence of unwanted global hacks with the Clean Installer tool (but not all files marked in red should be removed from your game).
If your problems started after installing a new EP, they could be related to graphics card icompatibility, but I think it's not your case. If you use a cracked game version, some anti-spyware tools may prevent the game from being started (e.g. Spyware Terminator has this behavior).
You should try to remove the newest downloads out of the game folder (it's hard to determine which .package files were automatically extracted from .sims2pack houses without using Clean Installer for inspecting those files).

| hi there, do you have any hacked objects that can full up sim's pet mood?? so i can teach ability anytime till it get full ability? and thx for those objects, they worked really really great, thx a lot

In TS2, you can use See Them 2 to adjust your pets motives in debug mode (the Mood bar level is determined by the levels of your pet's needs).
