Hi, was the game closed (not minimized) when you used ST2?
Did you really apply the settings - did you get green check marks near the pics of the features you turned on by clicking on the pics?
Did you close ST2 before launching the game?

I can write 100+ similar questions. Read the text in ST2 section / ST2 manual included in the .zip file / the TS2 Help section first. Without providing more details I can't help you much.

Thank you so much for the See Them 2 download...I've been searching for that patch for months with no luck...If I may bother you...is there a baby monitor??? Thank you again

 Thanks, Carlene :o)
I don't know if somebody has created a baby monitor for TS2. If not, I could create such an item - it should be easy to monitor baby's "needs".

You can use Google when searching for certain items - e.g. you could have found See Them 2 by entering words like censor, ts2.

Ok...It's not anything of yours then. Don't know whats wrong with it. I have the complete collection. I've used the move_objects cheat...is there a way I can fix the game?

 Dave:12/08/2006 08:05 AM
It really seems you deleted some of the invisible items by a mistake in the MoveObjects mode, or that there is another problem in your game copy.

You can try following fix: Back up the appropriate Userdata folder first (e.g. neigborhood 1 = Userdata folder, neighborhood 2 = Userdata2 etc.). If the house can't be bulldozed, evict the family at least (if there lives one on the lot). Go to the TemplateUserdata folder then, to the Houses subfolder and find the house with the same number as the corrupted lot (e.g. Simlane 7 = House07.iff etc.). Copy this file over the corrupted file located in Houses subfloder in the appropriate Userdata folder. Doing it will reset the lot to the same state as after installation.

Should anything go wrong, simply rename the Userdata folder and move the backed up folder back.

Sorry I meant TS1.
The only hacks I have are yours. I've used File Cop to search for corrupted files. Maybe my game is just defunct.

You may have your game corrupted (e.g. playing with move_objects or map_edit cheats, deleting some invisible lot items in these modes, bad installation CD, harddisc failure, virus attack). Certain paid modding tool may corrupt the game when a cr*ck is used to remove the trial period.

None of my items is placed on a lot automatically. I've just made a test - I used all my items on a lot and bulldozed the lot - without any problem.

Which EP's do you have? Didn't you used an item designed for a game version you don't have? But even this should not be the reason - if my item requires an EP you don't have, it disappears from the lot after switching to live mode.

My game crashes when I try to bulldoze a house. I thought this was because I had put downloaded objects into the game so I took them out. It did not fix the problem. What do you suggest?

 Dave:12/05/2006 08:48 AM
 Do you mean TS1 or TS2 ;o)?
Try bulldozing an empty lot first - should the game crash even in this case, it could be caused by e.g. a phone or portal hack or some new NPCs replacing the original ones - such hacks are placed on a lot in these cases. Or by a buggy cr*ck.

Should this happen only in case of one lot, using the move_objects cheat for removing e.g. the trashcan could be the reason. Or corrupted lot file after using a modding tool.
