| | If you have Windows XP or a newer OS, you don't need to have an extra program for opening .zip archives - these systems can open them automatically.
You can get Winzip or Winrar for this task on all operation systems, or even 7zip, which is a free tool and can open .rar archives too.

| Hey thanks mate for responding so fast. Well after reading your thoughts. I have a couple of thoughts. I will be sending you an Email here not long down the road. BTW, I will be including a Microsoft Word .Doc that I made something special for you to place up. Its about 700 KB, nothing to big, but I hope you will like what I threw together. It was something I thought you could have on the website. I will explain more in the Email. As well I can do some help on things. I will tell more in the Email just what my limits are. And no need to worry about the file (but ALWAYS check it for viruses), I wont send you anything that would harm you. But in this day and age, things can go wrong while in transit, and I always tell even my best friends to check stuff I send them and they send me I do like wise. You will know it is from me, wont say here why, but you will. Thx. And don't close the site! That would be a sure shame. ;-O

Hey Dave. I just found your site, and am blown away with what is all here.
I am a NOOB to the world of the Sims. I find it gets hard to locate new and cool things for the basic Sims only (for us little folks who dont/cant afford the Ep's)
And those like your self. Well, I thank you, because you make the game fun without just always focusing on the future only.
It would be a great shame if you allowed those that just steal stuff from you, to make you crawl under ground by limiting your stuff to only emails.
I love this site, I been looking around here for dang near four Hrs. now, and have even took some things for my Sims. (Lots to do to test/play them even yet). I was and likely will be contacting you in an Email to say hello/thanks.
Then I happened to swing by the GB here. :)
Therefore, I hope you reconsider and just look at it, as this is part of the world we live in.
Moreover, to let that control you would be a shame. You have an awesome site here, I am so glad I found you.
BTW, When are Misha and Danny going to have there honeymoon details in place? Maybe a Baby or two in the works? Wooohooo!.....

I'm glad there still are folks playing TS1 - like me :o). I'll try to finish some TS1 projects I started to work on long time ago. But it's pretty hard for me - I have no testers / people for creating English descriptions of my items etc. at the moment, I'm alone for the entire work.
E.g. starting yesterday some antiviruses started reporting my site as "danger" and adding it to the restricted zone in IE - thus preventing players from downloading from me. I absolutely don't know why, maybe a pirate took revenge and added my site to one of the international blacklists AV companies do use without checking the real content on such a site.
This all just makes me thinking of closing the site for good. If somebody wants to help me in the mentioned tasks (testing, creating English descriptions, creating graphics for the items or pictures of the items in the game, fighting with pirate sites...), everybody is welcomed.
I'm glad that even an US player dlded the small Czech flag :o). And I'm afraid Abby won't finish the M+D story - she doesn't play TS1 anymore.

This is really sad. I had no idea that things were stolen as much as they are.
I wanted something to max my motives and my son had this program.
He checked the name and then I google'd the name simsky.
I also checked the text file and saw parsimonious.
This site is my favorite by far. It is classy, and the content is classy. They also have a lot of unique content.
The help files are well written and complete.
I can't imagine anything they left out.
I can understand your decision to be more selective about who gets your work.
Clearly those who just throw it on to their own web site are not going to care about your loss or help anyone who is having problems with the software.
I hope this does not deter you from writing new programs, you are very talented.

Yes, I found about 20+ Czech blogs hotlinking to my files, and, what is even worse, tons of international blogs (especially written in Portugese) who reupload my stuff to w*rez servers. They steal the files from MTS2, together with files from other creators, who seem not to be interested at all.
Sure, I could implement protection written direct in Simanthics language (e.g. nag screens randomly shown in the game), but this would frustrate all players.
BTW Simsky is not Parsimonious - they just host my files on their server, because the Czech freehosting server I started with was not able to handle so many foreign visitors :o).
I will release new stuff now and then in 2008, but most of the items won't be direct downloadable. Only their pictures will be at the website and players will have to send me an email to get them.
