Ah! I finally got it to work. It's still strange - though I was clicking 'extract' to the Simsky file, it wouldn't really extract the .far in the Simsky file. So I opened the simsky file in one window and the .far file in another window, and clicked and dragged the .far file into the Simsky folder. Now it's working. Sorry for the hassle I might have brought onto you!

| I have a PC, and yes, I extracted the .far file from the zip archive. It's really strange. I extract the .far file into the Simsky file and it's still not there in the game, and all the other mods and objects I have put into that folder work. Maybe the file is defective?

Hi Dave. I have a question. I recently downloaded the 'All Abilities Bookcases' for The Sims: Makin' Magic, and I put it in the 'Simsky' subfolder in Downloads. However, whenever I go into the game, I can never find it. I've looked everywhere in the Knowledge and Magic section, and it's still not there. Is there something I'm not doing right?

| | Hi, all Simsky's downloads contain detailed instructions in the archive - just read the text file ending with _EN. It is written there where to extract the files from the archive.
In TS2 you also have to allow using of custom content among game settings (there are 3 options - CC must be allowed, question about loading CC must be turned off and when clicking on asterisk icon next to this option the CC has to be allowed again).
