See Them 2 Censor, when you tell the sim to change and be naked they change back to clothing, is there a way to stop this?

 Dave:01/24/2006 10:40 PM
ST2 removes the censor when they are naked (the blur). It doesn't remove their clothing when they are dressed ;o).
If you want to have naked Sims all the time, just extract the nude texture from the game and use it as a new regular skin :o). Or use any item for making your Sims naked (I'm sure there are tons of hacked dressers and similar items) and use them together with ST2.

Hi
I am wondering if your site is "file share friendly". Because i am looking for some old CharmedSIms stuff and Susan wrote if you allows FSF then her things are FSF, too *g*

So please allow FSF, pleeeease.

greets eisbaer

Hallo Eisbär + ganzes Deutschland :-)
Yes, we allow sharing of the original .zip files through email or IM (without modifying or removing TXT files from archives). Uploading the archives on a website, FTP server or egroup is not permitted.
This is valid for both the original Charmed Sims TS1 items and CS items recreated by Simsky (content of Sets + More sets sections).

Hey, I'm not here to ask for random tech support, I just really love your stuff. The stories in particular are brilliant, I'm very jealous that you can do that.

 Dave:01/01/2006 12:16 PM
 Thanks, Emma :o)
Hehe, I am also not able to write a story with my current English skills - Abby wrote them :o)

Big help. I probly do have the right version. But when I checked to see ig ST worked, I didn't know that you had to launch it and re-launch it. :*

 Dave:11/30/2005 10:14 AM
Yes, ST2 can't apply the patch while the game is running - because the game files are locked. Once you turned on the cheats in ST2 and closed the program, all the settings are saved and there's no need to open ST2 anymore :o).

I keep posting stuff! Ok. On modthesims2.com, they had one of your downloads. They had the TST: See Them. Thats how I came here. They said that we should come to the site. I downloaded the TS2: See Them at the other site though. I went into the game two days ago, and made them take a shower. Didn't take off the blur. Do you think thats because of me game, computer, or do you think that site? Do you think I should download it here? By the way, when I said that I downloaded things from another site, it was the same site. Modthesims2.com.

Yes, I have all my TS2 items at MTS2 - because it is faster for US visitors to download them there. If you downloaded ST 2.2.1 from the modding tools section at MTS2, it is the same version you can find here. Check, if you really have the 2.2.1 version - launch the program (by doubleclicking the file with heart-shaped icon in the archive) and read the caption of the tool. If you have the right version, check if there is a green check mark near the picture of the naked Sim - if not, click on this picture. If you already have done this, click on the Mod by Quaxi button - the value will change from Auto Mode to Always On, which will install the patch even for e.g. pirated game versions with missing registry entries.
I can't help you better without knowing anything about your game configuration - which version, which global hacks you use and how exactly you installed ST + which cheats you have turned on ;o). BTW quit the game before working with ST2 and launch it again after closing ST2.

Thanx. Big help if you could let me know some stuff about making things. But for now, lets have you teach me the recolors. Lets lake it easey first. ;)

 Dave:11/30/2005 12:07 AM
Haha, download SimPE and read the tons of tutorials you can find at its website. Recolors are good described there :o).

I also have another question. How do you create stuff like this? It's Amazing! I wish I knew how to do this! This is the first time to the web sight. I don't understand half the things on the side of the pg. What do they mean?

 Dave:11/27/2005 10:35 PM
Creating stuff for the game is not as difficult as it seems to be. My biggest problem is to translate the texts to English (I am not from an English-speaking country ;o).
You don't have to know any special programs for creating recolors of TS2 objects. For programming behavior of new objects, you have to know basics of any programming language. If you want me to explain you some terms from the programming stuff, just let me know, don't know what you exactly meant with pg.
BTW creating one item, with all the translations + testing, takes me up to 3 days ;o).

I have down loaded the TS2: See Them. I haven't checked if it works yet. I have down loaded something off another sight, and it didn't work. I made sure that I downloaded it correctly, and I did. It's not in the buy mode- which it should be.

By the way, I have the sims2.

 Dave:11/27/2005 10:34 PM
Hi, I expect you are using word “sight” instead of “site”, hope I am right. If you meant that you downloaded an object from a non-Simsky website, there can be many reasons why it didn't show up in the Buy mode: it required an EP (expansion pack) you don't have / the item was buggy / the item required CEP / it was listed in different part of the object list than you thought.
If you are a newbie, you have to learn some basic terms related to TS2 objects - e.g. when an item requires CEP, it means you have to download and install CEP3 from sims.ambertation.de . When an item is EP ready, it means it works in all TS2 versions, including the base game. When an item requires an EP, it means it will not work in the base game version only.
See Them 2 is a modding tool - launch it by just opening the archive (without copying it to any game folder) and doubleclick the SeeThem2 file (with heart-shaped icon). Then you can click on the pictures for activating the cheats.
