| | Hi, haven't you installed an anticensorship or similar patch? I don't recommend modifying/replacing the game files, it can result in strange behavior of the game. See Them 2 doesn't modify any of the game files (it just uses the cheat launcher) - you can bring all to the original state by simply turning off the cheats by using See Them 2.
Install the newest driver for your graphics card, many similar problems are caused by outdated GC driver. Then turn off the cheats and check it again. If you're still getting this bug, it has nothing to do with See Them 2 - just remove the hacked items from your game till you find the buggy one. If there is no bug when the cheats are turned off, then it is possible you are using a hacked item (or NPC), which was not tested with the debug mode turned on / with the changed size of the censor grid.

| | Hi Mike, use See Them 1.1 for your Deluxe edition - it works with all versions of The Sims 1.
See Them 2 is intended for all versions of The Sims 2. If you have both TS1 and TS2 on your comp, you can use both of the programs :-).

Hi Dave thanks for your help. See Them is working now,but there was no txt file and it didn't put a icon on my desk top,but thats ok as long as it continues to work. I hate to take up so much of your time but so far you have been the only one to help me .Now when it comes to computers I am not the brightest light in the box. So I now need some help with my sims art studio, it seems it can't find any of the pictures that I want to make in it from my own files or pic's I down load.And I have tried to uninstall it and reinstall it but then it only works for one picture ands then stop again ..what am I doing wrong......Once more thanks for your help..keep up the great work,your site is the best

| | Hi Mike, thanks and that's OK, I used to have similar problems a few years ago :o).
I expect you use the basic settings of your Windows Explorer. That's why you can't see the files' extensions (in the Windows Explorer settings, you have the „Hide extensions of known file types“ option turned on). The archive contains 2 text files (one in Czech, one in English) - the name of the English one is SeeThemEN. It contains the same info like the See Them section at this website, so you can read all the instructions online, too :o).
See Them won't put its shortcut on the desktop - if you want one, create it manually. Find the SeeThem executable file you extracted from the archive, click on it and press Ctrl+C. Then go to your desktop, right click there and choose the option „Insert the shortcut“ (or „Insert as Shortcut“ - I have Czech version of Windows, so the texts can differ a bit, but this one is just next to the „Insert“ item). This will create the shortcut on your desktop.
When working with Art Studio, it is better to convert the images from JPG to BMP format - by using any program for picture editing. I remember Art Studio was not able to read all kinds of JPGs. Be sure to use the newest version (1.3), the older versions were full of bugs.

| | Hi Mike, unzip the files to any folder - See Them is a standalone program, so there is no difference if you extract it to your desktop or to e.g. C:\Utils\SeeThem . Then doubleclick the SeeThem.exe file to run it (it has a big heart as the icon). The program itself will find the folder with The Sims. If you then click on the picture with the naked woman, it will apply the patch :o).
Detailed instructions are included in the TXT file in the archive.
