Hello. I would have been here sooner, but I just saw the link for the guestbook. Wanted to say, thank you for the houses you posted at my site!

| Hi Ed, thanks :o) I really like your forum. I can't speak English, so Dave had to translate this for me. I'm working on new houses now. I enjoy creating houses, while Dave has created all the hacks and stuff.

| I checked one of the career mods with our Czech version of TS2. Instead of seeing those modified career texts, we saw just the original Czech texts. So it seems if you have non-US game version, you won't see the modified texts in many cases - the authors of the career mods seem to changing the US language strings only, without removing the other languages from the mod, which results in seeing the original translations in non-US game versions. It's not that difficult to create TS2 mods - especially if you're a programmer in real life :o).

Yeah :( Oh well. I really want to use some of the downloads from The Usa site like The Player Career but i can't :( how do i do it??

| I don't know what you mean. If you downloaded a career written in different language than English, you won't see it in English unless the creator typed the texts in English too. Somebody else would have to translate the texts included in the .package file of the career into English.

hey, do you have a mod to change the language to english i'd love to understand what they're saying :) hope you can help :) xx

| Do you mean switching simlish to English? There's no spoken English in the game - the Sims' speech was created just for the game, without any relation to English.

Hey! I have a problem; in my game, the original neighbordhoods doesn't exist anymore. I just deleted the Free Time from my computer and replaced it whit the Apartment Life expansion pack, and now I don't have Pleasantview&others anymore. I tried to download SaraMk's Pleasantview&Veronaville&Strangetown-hood, but it doesn't show up in my game eighter.

| If you didn't make a backup, it's better to uninstall and newly install the entire game. Don't know why you deleted FT - if it's related to that pretty bad tutorial of installing pirated EP's available at many blogs, I don't provide support for such game versions.
