Hi. Again lol. Just to respond to your response, does that mean there's no chance of a music video hack? :D aw well. I find myself miserably bad at doing the combination (I think I just called myself a total idiot) so so I'll make do with your current SS mods :D

I can create the music videos level hack - it is the same programming as in case of the other 2 superstarvhacks - I only thought the file was too big to download e.g. for players using dial-up connection.
I am not at the comp I use for creating items, but if I have a bit of time in the future, I can release this hack just for you :o).

i got so bored of the sims and decided to start searching for stuff to do on it to have some fun, and your website has made me play more lol my girlfriend loves these too, thanks for the hacks! they're awesome
oh i have a question
if the download does not have a readme file stating where to install do you assume its the Simsky folder and not the Dave_Luv one?
will it matter which folder it is extracted to aswell?
i dont seem to have any new sets for the floors but i got sets for the beds and stuff..

You can always use the Simsky subfolder in Downloads for objects / hacks (even when I used to write Dave_Luv in case of the older items) and even for items from Susan (Charmed Sims) you can find here. The subfolder just helps you to find items sorted per creators and to start the game faster.
Only TS1 global hacks and items containing new sounds do require using the exact folder name mentioned in the instructions.

Hi. When I played sims 2 I ALWAYS used 'see them' I CANNOT thank you enough :-)
But my favourite of everything you've done so far Dave is definitely the sims 1 stuff. I luv it ;)
But why only just the catwalk and acting hacks for superstar, leave out the music videos? :D
Just a thought because I love the SIMS 1 so much. I love your stuff, again, by the way.

It is easier to pass the music videos level, so I didn't patch this one. And there is one more reason - the size of the hack would overreach 10 MB :o).

| | Black skins / words like "missing texture" mean missing skin files in most cases. Check if you downloaded meshes with corresponding skins.
Also check if your graphics card meets the min. criteria set by Maxis.

| | The reason is that not many creators do use similar checks.
Each game version sets some global flags so the creators can determine the expansions a player has. The Maternity pic checks if the Unleashed EP (I wrote "Pets" by a mistake) is installed - because the game would crash if a player used the breeding feature without having this EP. If this check is negative, the object disables the breeding feature and the pic is just a decorative item. So this check shouldn't be the problem.
I use one more check - if the object has the same GUID it was compiled with. This is to stop piracy (stealing of my items). If you changed the GUID or the Mac version of the game does it automatically, it would be the reason why the pic disappeared.

| I have Complete Collection and the Pet Maternity Picture keeps disappearing when i switch to live mode i am on a mac could that have anything to do with it? And if not what is going on?

| | You can find it among Accessories / Glasses in the catalog. Don't forget to extract both .package files from the archive (the mesh + the texture) - direct to Downloads in your user profile.
