Tessa (with Big LL Problem) | 07/18/2005 09:04 PM |
I have just tried to reinstall TS1, LL, and HD on my computer. (Pentium III 1.8, 256 RAM, nVidia Geoforce card). TS1 went fine. LL had install problems, then when those were solved it got worse - only would crash after the splash. Installed HD anyway, which allowed the proggy to start up, but then it crashed whenever I tried to use a phone or to leave for work. Have you heard of this? Do you think your LL patch in the T&T area will solve my LL crash problem? Thanks! Tessa

| Hi, do you use cracks in your game? And did you have administrator's rights when installing and playing? Some of items designed for the base game version (like the phone upgrade) can be also the reason.

| Thanks :o) During July + August, I am going to add more sets every week - always when I have a bit of time. We also created some new items for the Beaver Dam Set + other sets with Simves, going to add them in the next months :-)

Thanks so much for making these sets available. I lost a lot of my S1 downloads in a computer crash - and it's been hard to find many fo the things again. A lot of sites have closed or gone to just S2. Thank you from the poor people who still have P2-400 computers!

| Thanks :o) I am going to release all TS1 stuff made by Charmed Sims during this summer. Will try to finish some extra TS1 items I started to work on a long time ago, too. I play TS1 on my oooooold PIII/600 machine, it is difficult with the tons of downloaded stuff ;o).

Thank you for having TS1 things to download. What a great selection. I like keeping my first Sims folks around and giving them gracious things. So nice of you.

| Thanks :o) I like creating items with completely new behavior. We have many unfinished objects of this kind (going to release them during the summer). I'm sure your Sims will like them :o).

Thanks for the Sims1 objects. I started out with TS2 and am new to TS1. I'm finding out that there are few sites left that will update with new stuff. Thanx again.

thks for such a quick answer! i did that but i still can´t place objects in diagonal like chairs.. just windows or curtains when aproaching a diagonal wall automaticaly rotate 45degrees. but the other objects i can´t place them like that..

| Rotate the objects by using the “,” and “.” keys (there is “<” and “>” on the same keys) - it is better than using the mouse. You can try to enable the diagonal placement cheat manually - it does the same like See Them 2.1. So: Enter a lot, press Ctrl+Shift+C and enter this cheat: boolProp allow45DegreeAngleOfRotation true If this works and you are able to rotate the original Maxis chairs, then the program should also work. If not, then something is wrong, e.g. you downloaded some objects, which are not compatible with University.

hi! i downloaded the see them2 but i don´t know how to rotate the objects 45degrees.. i have the university expansion pack and the option enabled on the program, but when i try to rotate an object it rotates 90degrees as ever.. can u help me?!.. thks!*

| Hi, you can try to disable the cheat for placing objects out of grid when using the diagonal placement cheat. And try rotating of small objects first, e.g. chairs. If you have University, it should work without any problem.
