I was wondering if you are going to come out with a new see them for the pets EP?? just incase 2.3 doesn't work?
|
| Dave: | 10/21/2006 01:49 PM |
| I have good news from players having the Pets EP - the censor remover ST 2.31 installs does still work :o). The remaining ST2 features are independent from the used game version, they should work in all future EPs. Quaxi is going to test his censor.package file and would publish an update in case of any incompatibility. I would update ST2 the next day :o).

I HAVE DOWNLOADED SEVERAL ITEMS FROM THE SIMS IE: HOUSES, SKINS ECT. i CANT SEEMTO GET THEM TO THE ACTUAL GAME. iS THERE SOMETHING BLOCKING IT. i WAS ABLE TO DOWNLOAD BEFORE AND NOW IT DOESNT SEEM TO WORK... THANKS!

| I expect you mean The Sims 2. Check in the settings, if you have enabled loading of user-created content. Some houses created in newer game versions won't load if you don't have such an EP (and if they contain some global hacks, it can be reason of this behavior, too). The same for skins requiring meshes from the newer EPs. Another reason can be using any modifications of the main executable file (obsolete anticensor hacks or a pirated version). You can use e.g. Clean Installer to see if there are any global hacks included in the stuff you downloaded.

Como é que eu fasso para colocar o "Stash secreto Matt do mistério " no meu jogo do The Sims?
|
| Dave: | 10/01/2006 09:55 PM |
| I can't speak Spanish, so I am not able to translate your message - haven't found many of the words even when using a dictionary. I speak only English, German, Czech, Slovak, Russian :o). If you asked where to place Mystery Matt's Secret Stash, just copy the .far file from the archive to Simsky subfolder in Downloads. The .far file contains all the small parts of this item (2 iff objects, meshes, skins...) in one file and the game loads them faster when they are in this file type. The naming convention of our meshes/skins is unique, they won't show up in the Create-a-Sim screen nor collide with any other items. This item requires Makin' Magic EP.

Since my computer is mac, I can not use this program. Really i want to use this program. Would you make this program for mac?
|
| Dave: | 10/01/2006 10:45 AM |
| On a Mac comp, you can use Quaxi's censor.package file - it is the same mod ST2 installs to remove the censor. See my reply for Illys on the previous page or get the file at sexysims2.com. Some players tried to run ST2 on a Mac by using an emulator, but I expect they didn't succeed, because ST2 reads registry settings to find the game location.

I have Sims 2 OFB andCool Stuff. I installed See Them 2.31 and since doing that I have not been able to use windows or doors in build mode. I have turned See Them off I even deleted it but it doesn't make any difference. When deleted ,Sims are no longer nude and the Testing Cheats don't work but the moving off grid and building problems never change.

| Please read the instructions at the website or the manual ;o). From the description at the website: Many game items (windows, doors...) require snapping to grid to be turned on when placing them. I recommend having only the "censor remover" and "diagonal placement of objects" features turned on all the time. Or a few lines below: If you click on the right picture (the one with the plants), you can enable / disable placement of objects out of grid. Use this cheat only for adjusting the placement of e.g. decorative items after buying them - don't use it while building a house as some items (doors, windows, kitchen counters) require this cheat to be turned off when placing them. So: launch ST 2.31, click on the picture with the plants - the green check mark changes to a red X. This indicates placing objects out of grid was turned off successfully. Close ST2 and launch the game.

hey i would just like to know when do i open TS2, after i open sims or before?
|
| Dave: | 09/03/2006 05:01 PM |
| If you mean See Them 2, start it first, adjust the settings, close it and launch the game then. The settings are saved, so you don't have to open ST2 before each game start - only when you want to change some settings :o).

the icon that I click to play Sims2 doesn't pull the game up any longer. I downloaded see them 2.3 .. now if I click to play the game it pulls up the window for see them 2.3 and I cannot get to the game. I have the CD for the Sims 2 game not a pirated version.

| I expect you replaced your desktop game icon by a mistake. ST2 doesn't create / modify any icons / Start menu entries. The right way to launch ST2 is to doubleclick the executable file in the archive or extracted in any folder. Simply delete your fake icon from the desktop (or rename it) and create a new game icon - click the Start button in tray, go to Programs, find EA Games / TS2 and the icon for launching the game in the TS2 group. Hold Ctrl and drag the TS2 icon to your desktop - the icon will be copied there.
